Veteran Dental Solutions

How it works

Four steps. We carry all four.

You make one phone call or fill in one form. From that point the coordination, the clinical work and the paperwork are ours. Here is exactly what happens, and what it costs you, which is nothing.

Discovery & concierge

We call you. Not a form response, but an actual conversation with someone who understands both dental health and the DVA system, so you're not starting from scratch explaining your situation.

We work out what already exists: your accepted conditions, your service dental records, any imaging or clinical notes from dentists you've seen since. Then we identify what's missing.

From there we book whatever examination or imaging you need with a provider near you, and we chase the charting and clinical notes ourselves. You don't coordinate any of it.

  • A real conversation, not a triage script
  • We contact your dentist, GP or advocate for history
  • Examination and imaging booked near you, anywhere in Australia
  • No cost to you at any point

Clinical assessment & reporting

An AHPRA-registered dental practitioner reviews the complete picture: the examination findings, the imaging, the charting, your service history and your existing accepted conditions.

The clinical question is specific: is there a defensible link between what is happening in your mouth and what happened during your service, or to a condition DVA has already accepted?

The answer is written up as a comprehensive report structured to meet DVA requirements, addressing the relevant Statement of Principles factors directly rather than leaving a delegate to infer them.

  • Assessed and authored by a registered dentist
  • Written against the relevant Statements of Principles
  • Links conditions to service, or to your accepted conditions
  • Addresses the evidence a delegate actually needs to see

Submission to DVA

We lodge the completed report with DVA on your behalf and confirm it has been received. You do not have to navigate MyService, work out which form applies, or wonder whether the right thing was attached.

We tell you when it has gone in and what happens next. If DVA comes back asking for more, we handle that too.

  • Lodged for you, so you do not manage the upload
  • Confirmation once it has landed with DVA
  • We respond to requests for further information
  • Regular updates, so you are never left wondering

Ongoing support

An outcome is not the end of it. Oral health is a lifelong commitment, and an accepted condition opens doors that are worth actually walking through.

We stay available to help you understand what your outcome means, what treatment it unlocks, and how to access it. If you need something outside dental, we will connect you with our network: general practice, medical specialties, advocacy, psychiatry, audiology and allied health.

  • Help understanding your outcome and what it entitles you to
  • Referrals to DVA-registered treatment providers
  • Connections across our wider provider network
  • No end date on our support

The cost

Nothing. Here's the full breakdown.

Not a discount, not a deferred fee, not contingent on your outcome. There are no out-of-pocket costs to you for any part of the assessment and reporting process.

Initial consultation $0
Dental examination $0
Imaging (OPG / radiographs) $0
Clinical assessment $0
DVA-compliant report $0
Submission to DVA $0
Follow-up and updates $0
Ongoing support afterwards $0

If anything about your circumstances fell outside that, we would tell you before proceeding. We would rather lose the work than surprise a veteran with a bill.

Process questions

Questions about the process

How long does the whole process take?

The part we control (gathering evidence, assessing and reporting) typically takes a few weeks, depending mostly on how quickly appointments and imaging can be arranged near you.

Once it is with DVA, the timeframe is theirs. Processing times vary considerably by claim type and current workload. Where a streamlined pathway applies, as it now does for dental attrition arising from accepted bruxism, it moves faster.

What do I actually need to do?

Get in touch, have a conversation with us, and attend the examination and imaging appointments we arrange for you.

That is genuinely it. The documentation gathering, the clinical assessment, the report writing and the DVA submission are ours.

Do I need to have already lodged a claim?

No. We work with veterans at both ends of it.

If you have already lodged and DVA has asked for evidence, we produce the assessment and report. If you have not lodged anything, we can assess whether there is something worth claiming first, so you are not lodging blind.

What if my service records are incomplete?

That is extremely common, particularly for older service, and it is not a dead end.

Where contemporaneous records are missing, a properly reasoned clinical opinion, linking the pattern and severity of what is present now to documented service circumstances, carries real weight. Assembling that argument is a large part of what the assessment is for.

Will this affect my existing accepted conditions?

Lodging a dental claim does not put your existing accepted conditions at risk. It is an additional claim, assessed on its own merits.

If you have specific concerns about your circumstances, an advocate is the right person to talk to, and we are happy to work alongside yours.

Next step

You've already done the hard part.

You served. Getting the dental consequences of that service recognised shouldn't be another battle, and it shouldn't cost you anything. Tell us where you're at and we'll take it from there.

No cost, no obligation. If we're not the right fit we'll tell you, and point you somewhere that is.
