Veteran Dental Solutions

For advocates & ESOs

Send us the dental. We'll handle it end to end.

If you work with veterans, you already know dental is the piece that gets deferred: it's specialised, it's fiddly to evidence, and there's rarely capacity to chase it. That's the only thing we do.

What a referral actually gets your client

A coordinated examination and imaging near them, a clinical assessment by a registered dentist, a comprehensive report written against the relevant Statements of Principles, and lodgement with DVA, all managed by us, at no cost to them.

Why refer to us

Six reasons this is worth the handover.

It comes off your desk

Dental is usually the piece nobody has capacity to chase. Refer it and we take the coordination, the appointments, the imaging and the report writing entirely.

Clinically defensible evidence

Reports are authored by an AHPRA-registered dental practitioner and written against the relevant Statements of Principles, not a generic letter of support.

Your client stays local

We arrange examinations and imaging near them, anywhere in Australia. Regional and remote clients are not disadvantaged.

No cost to your client

No out-of-pocket expenses for diagnosis, imaging, assessment or submission. Nothing for you to explain or justify.

You stay in the loop

We keep you updated at each stage and copy you on the completed report. Nothing happens to your client without your visibility.

A second opinion, free

Not sure whether there's anything dental worth pursuing? Ask before you refer. We'll tell you straight, and we'd rather say no than waste your client's time.

The referral process

Three steps, and two of them are ours.

  1. 1

    You send us the details

Name, contact details, card type if known, and a short note on accepted conditions and what prompted the referral. Use the form, or call us directly.

  2. 2

We contact your client and take it from there

We speak with them directly, obtain their consent, gather what exists, book what is missing, and assess. You are kept updated at each stage.

  3. 3

You get a copy of the completed report

We lodge it with DVA and send you a copy for your file, so it sits alongside the rest of the case you are managing.

Referral questions

Questions from advocates

Who can refer?

Compensation and wellbeing advocates, ex-service organisations, RSL sub-branches, veteran support services, GPs, psychologists, dentists and allied health practitioners working with veterans.

Family members can also get in touch on behalf of a veteran, though we will need to speak with the veteran directly before proceeding.

What do you need from me to start?

The veteran's name and contact details, their card type if known, and a short note on their accepted conditions and what prompted the referral.

If you already hold service dental records, imaging or clinical notes, sending those saves time, but they are not a prerequisite. We can gather what is missing.

Does this cut across the claim I am already running?

No. We produce clinical evidence for the dental component only. We do not represent your client to DVA, run their broader claim, or handle appeals.

You stay the advocate. We are a specialist input into the case you are already managing.

Do you pay referral fees?

No, and we would be cautious of anyone in this sector who does. Referral incentives create a conflict between what is good for the veteran and what is good for the referrer.

We would rather earn referrals by doing the work properly.

How do you handle my client’s information?

Health information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. We obtain the veteran's consent before requesting records from any third party, and we only share information with the providers directly involved in their assessment, and with DVA.

Full detail is in our privacy policy.

Can we set up a standing arrangement?

Yes. If you are an ESO or a practice referring regularly, get in touch and we will set up a direct line, an agreed intake process and a named contact so your referrals do not go through the general queue.

Refer a client

One conversation and it's off your desk.

Send through the details and we'll take it from there. If you'd rather talk it through first, including whether there's anything dental worth pursuing at all, call us.

No cost, no obligation. If we're not the right fit we'll tell you, and point you somewhere that is.
